What do I need to spray my peach trees with for worms? Also when do I spray them? They are just starting to bloom.

Dont spray insecticides during bloom, start at shuck split and continue weekly until 14 days before harvest. Go to local co-op or lowes etc and get an all in one fruit spray, a premix of fungicide and insecticide, read the label for rate and directions.

I was told flies lay eggs in the blooms if you dont spray them. Was I told wrong?

Ive wondered about that.
What happens to my peaches is a small bug of of some kind will bore its way out of young peaches leaving what looks like a little stream of silicone caulking on the peach. Then the young peach falls off.
Do you know what this is and the best way to treat it?
