If everything he posted is the truth and is the only evidence presented, they need to appeal to the Alabama court of criminal appeals. I have personally never seen a Judge convict someone when there has been no evidence of a crime presented. If the facts are really what you say, that is not even circumstantial evidence of a crime.

Scott, in Alabama, how long would a person have to file an appeal in a case such as this

Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

A warrant should not have even been issued, thus the number of people doubting that they are getting the whole story. When you have a criminal defense lawyer (not surprisingly) saying there wasn't enough evidence, but then it is backed up by a retired GW and a retired police executive, it speaks strongly that there was not enough evidence from the information we were given.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

We are appealing to the Apellate Court .... I have placed a call to the court reporter to get a copy of the transcripts.

I know it sounds hard to believe .... I can't believe it.... But it is on record that the Retired Game Warden clearly states that he did not see them shoot only heard it. When asked it he could identify who was driving, who was riding in passenger seat etc... He could not because e could not see into the truck. He said based on his 25 years as a game warden he knew what a high powered rifle sounded like.

I agree that something is terribly out of sync.... With the justice system in this County.

I thought you were innocent until proven guilty. No one saw them shoot, no shell casings found by the retired GW at the site, no shell casings found in the truck when the deputies searched it, no light, no dead animal...

If these boys would have shot an AR 15 from the cab of a truck they would not be able to hear for quite a while.

Keep in mind the retired GW followed them and accused them after he claimed he heard the shot. From the stop sign to where he blocked them in at the hunting camp was only about 2 miles.

In the first trial in District Court- when the judge rendered his verdict he said " retired GW is a friend of mine and has given 25 years of good service and I value his opinion...GUILTY.

I would think the same thing if I were you too.... But what I have said is the truth. Trust me, we would not have spent as much money as we have on legal fees etc... If it wasn't the truth. Would have just paid the fines and went about our way.

One of these kids wants to be a GW!

Everyone should be concerned... This was 3 boys driving down a paved public road stopped at a stop sign waiting to turn left.... Not in camo, not out side of the vehicle, no spotlights or flashlights in the truck...this could have been anyone...

Do you have an attorney, if so why are you ordering the transcript?

Is this each, or do you mean split 3 ways? As in hunting- after dark.... 2209 each or 2209 devided by 3.

Those fines are more than allowed by law.
