If I had not seen him I would have left. It was my back up spot already. There isnt a big enough turkey out there worth getting shot for. For me, its as simple as 'what would I like for someone else to do?' My dang job gets in the way of my turkey hunting. If I could only hit the lotto I'd be good to go.

I agree with this! I hope some of these guys are joking. If someone is at a gate with a bunch of property behind it, it's best to ask, or talk to them first. It's just flat out unsafe and unethical to just walk into a gobbling turkey you can hear from the gate where another truck is. Sounds like somebody should have gotten up earlier. If you don't want to or can't for whatever reason, I guess you need to get used to taking what's left!
