That's a good question, I'm sure they'll be fine, temps get like this every season at some point I feel like, turkey's up north nest in snow at times and they have way more birds than we do. I'd say they'll be ok

How do any of you think the weather will effect gobbling activity in the morning for hunting?

It'll bother us more than them. I hunted opening weekend Just outside of Orlando last year and it was 30 with a slight frost. It was like the second coldest night of the year down there. And the Osceola's hammered that morning but didn't end up killing one until it warmed up later that afternoon.

Someone will probably see a nice 8 point cross the road behind a doe in the morning... I couldn't help it. But really, I think that Wednesday morning will be a good morning to hunt turkeys if it isn't windy. I do not think cold nor hot bothers them much, but rain, wind, or whatever will change them up some. And the eggs that have been laid will be fine.

What you recon that will do to the eggs already laid? Nothing, when we were raising game chickens and the incubators were full we would keep a couple dozen eggs that we wanted in the fridge for a couple days until the other hatched off.

It always is maybe it's just me, but my experience tells me that there's more gobbling on high pressure days, pressure 30" and above

If the cold affects eggs, they'll start over and cock block me some more I'm sure. I'm bout tired of hens this year, that's for certain! The worst that could happen already has, I would think. Other than people bush-hogging, I'd imagine flood water takes a toll on them. If it makes you feel any better , the cock blocking hen wouldn't have to breed again to lay another clutch.
