Tell us about a time when you had to deal with a difficult person, what was it about and how did you resolve the issue.
Well, we had these fellers tresspassing on our hunt'n property once...well it wasn't really ours but we been hunt'n it for so long with nobody knowin' it that we treated it like it was ours. Anyway, we put out a 5 gallon bucket of roof tacks and hid out in the bushes one night. Sure'nuff, they rolled through and instantly got four flat tires. These two fellers got out of their truck and when they bent over lookin' at their tires we RUSHED'em. We hit them ole boys with this feller, YEKRUT's stick. Then we put the pit bulls to 'em. After them 'ole boys took a heck of a lickin' they had the nerve to try and tell us it was actually THEIR property, that they was the rightful owners. That just ticked us off even more so we put it on 'em pretty good again. We finally run 'em off and told 'em if they ever came back, next time we'd shoot 'em with 575 dozen arrows. A couple of days later the company we lease from tried to pull our lease from us claiming we beat up the neighboring land owners. I guess they bought those ole' boys' story about owning the property. But, like I said before, we been huntin' the property so long it might as well be ours anyway so I figure we'll just keep on doing what we been doing all along. So...I guess all in all it turned out alright. How about you? You got any stories? ![grin grin](/forum/images/graemlins/default/grin.gif)

I was a member of a technology committee from a local university here in North Alabama that met with local businesses and plants finding out what they needed in the way of trained employees. Every site we visited with said they needed employees who would simply come to work. Each company said this was the hardest asset to get from a worker. Folks simply lay out too much. I have missed 4 days of work in 9 years at my current position with three of those days being the death of my mother. I relayed this to a Personnel Director at one of the larger plants I was visiting and was offered a job on the spot with no interview needed. I turned it down, but felt like I was doing something right to get offered one of the positions they were interviewing for. Just make sure to tell them you have a great attendance record if given the chance!

Ask them what that smell is when you cross the Bryant bridge? I did and they replied that it was the University of Alabama.....I told em "I thought so" ![smile smile](/forum/images/graemlins/default/smile.gif)
