When in school, I worked for a couple of uncles putting in pools in NW AL. One year, we put in 42 pools. When I went away to school 4 years later, 17 had already been filled in.

I prefer the lake smile

Memento mori (Neck shot, 75 yards) - - I'll see you at the lake, around the beach, on the mountain & in the woods on this side or the other by & by.

Yep the wife wants one and I told her when I build my pond she will have one. A little sandy beach and a covered pavilion and there you go. She wouldn't like me putting fish in the pool.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Let that pool go and stock it with copper nose bluegill. Way more fun and productive.

If you maintain it year round it's not bad at all...if you let it sit up all winter like I do Its a lot of work to clean it and get it ready for summer, just getting the debris out and trying to get the water clean

I'm right there with u except mine had a leak too. So now it's empty except about 200 gal of green slime and leaves in the bottom.
It's a freaking chore is what it is.

They're cool till you own one...

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

The upkeep isn't a big problem if you keep chlorine tabs in it every 2-3 days. I went the entire summer last year without shocking mine. But, it would be easier if my neighbor had the pool and I could just use it when I wanted.
