To each his own, but I don't hold my bow anymore - however, I do stand 90% of the time. I have a tri-fold ez-hanger and it has enough length to put the bow right in front of me. Minimal movement to get the bow and doesn't fatigue hand and arms. I've really been in a groove with this setup. If I'm sitting down and my bow is in my hand, it's probably horizontal in my lab and it takes a while to move your bow from horizontal to vertical without being detected. If it's in one of those tri-fold ez-hangers, it's vertical and easily can be in short reach with very little movement.
