Opened this morning. Cold, windy, and overcast in most places. Just wondered if we had anybody up there. They should have a good hunt this week.

We’re hunting the NW corner along the Maumee River, 25 degrees west wind with snow flurries.
Had a few bucks moving this am but no shooters.
Our best farms had EHD this year and most of the older bucks died from it.
Most of the locals around us do man drives when gun season starts so we’ll get some deer show up from across the river and other farms with more hunting pressure.

We had a good time hunting with our friend up there as always. The hunting was the toughest I’ve ever seen it there. We never saw a big one, first time ever for Ohio gun season ,came home with a tag.
We’ll definitely be back next year.
