I picked up my mount today and couldn't be more happy with how it turned out. Blake Wilson did a great job and I recommend him to anyone.

Is that a competition mount? The Ross he did for me was and no extra charge.

He knows his stuff. He grew up with exotic waterfowl. His dad was GW and had a pond full of different species of ducks.

He didn't mention anything about a competition mount, but he did say it is one of the best blacks that he has mounted. He does awesome work for sure, and will hopefully get some more birds from me this season.

He didn't tell me the Ross was a competition mount, another waterfowl taxidermist did. Couldn't believe he didn't charge extra for it.
I must say after looking at it some more, it is awesome to look at. Can't imagine seeing it in person.

When I get another black duck, that's the style mount I'm going with.

can ya tell I'm a little envious laugh
