I have a drop tine nine point showing up on my cameras that is haunting me in my dreams. I actually think about him at night while trying to get to sleep. I think about him while at work since my hunting spot is literally right behind my work. Please tell me I am the only one who hasnt had a particular deer entertain their thoughts like this. I am thinking of forming a support group.

I was hunting a huge buck bout 15 years ago every dang chance I got. If I had four hours off mid day I'd go hunt him, every day off I had I hunted him. My wife told me mid season we were fixing to have a problem. I told her I had never seen a buck this good and I was going to hunt it. I think she was happier than I was when I called her to tell her I killed it.
Sometimes ya just have to do what ya have to do.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I have a few special bucks from my past, that got away from me, that I still think about pretty regularly. I can tell you every detail of them and these are deer that outsmarted me 13-15 years ago.
If voting made any difference, they wouldn’t let us do it.-Mark Twain

I had a huge drop tine 11 point that I hunted for 3 years. He got killed on the neighboring lease near the end of the 3rd season. Still think about the one that got away.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

Been there done that! Took me 3 years but he is on my wall. Best buck I've ever killed or seen. I called him Stickers. Big main frame 8 with a bunch of stickers. 14 measurable points, grossed 148. I still smile every time I look at him on the wall Ron, I bet you killed that buck in Washington county.

Yes, I've been there, had a nice 9 on camera few years back. Never saw him while hunting but when rut started he showed up on my cameras from 11 am to 2 pm. Then back to moving at night. One year later, I killed him New Year's Eve at 1:40 in afternoon chasing doe.
