Somebody educate me on why there are so many Asian people out on the pier. Me and my bunch went to eat tonight, then went out to take a walk on the pier afterwards. Man, that place was full of Asian folk. Haven't seen them on the beach or out at restaurants, just curious what there deal is.

Last time I was on the PCB pier, they was enough gooks to make a Rambo movie. They catch anything they can, and all they can, and carry it to Atlanta and sell it..

I was lucky enough to be in Orange Beach one evening riding around seeing the sights and went to The Pass during a bonita run. I guess it was concurrent with the tide or something, but their were at least a hundred Vietnamese all packed in as close as they could get to the narrowest point chunking lures. They were bringing in a fish on every cast pretty much but I'll never comprehend how they weren't hooking each other. Some of the best entertainment I've had down there since the old days of the Flora Bama. Whole lot cheaper than the Flora Bama too.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

x2 , gulf shore put a limit on sabiki rigs , this is the main thing they use to catch fish. gulf shore put a 5 jig limit on sabiki lines to slow them down. the number of asians " commercial fishing" from pier is way down this year.

When I was a regular at the city pier in PCB years ago the gooks would crowd the rails and not reel in when someone got a big fish on. They are the rudest bunch of fishermen I ever fished with. After getting their lines cut several times they soon learned pier fishing rules the hard way.

They're using giant sabiki rigs to fish for hard tails. I've seen them on the PCB pier pull up 8 at a time and throw them in a cooler with NO ICE in it. Let it sit on the hot pier all day and then head home.

I hear they sell the fish at a market in Atlanta.

Eglin AFB. All those guys stationed in Korea brought back their girlfriends/wives while they were over there.

Not sure what you call the rigs they're using, but they have atleast 10 hooks on it. And your right about the coolers with no ice. They were filling them up with trash fish.
