I don't trust him throwing the ball against an elite defense. (partly due to him, partly due to I don't know that the OL can hold off Clemson DL) Hopefully the coaches can work around any deficiency that he has. I'd run the ball more, opt for quick passes instead of long developing pass plays and mix in a play action every now and then.
I trust the coaches will put the team in the best position to win.

Idk but he seems to me that he needs to get a little more fire. If we messed up,our qb would light a fire under our ass and our coaches would be worse. Of course that's been many, many years ago.. I like his calmness Look at Baker Mayfield...as much as I hate him, when he gets fired up, he straight up balls...I honestly think he is too calm. Look at aj when he went off on the oline, they would turn into monsters after...need someone to get fired up yet stay level headed when not playing well To answer your question...No I don't think we will...He's had to win two games and hasn't showed me yet that he can cause he lost both. He did not lose Clemson last year; he put up what should have been the winning TD. Sure he made one play near the end...what did he do the entire game before that? Go 3 and out just about every time...all he had to do was make just one pass pretty much We went 0 - 13 on 3rd down conversions in the second half. Yes Clemson had a lot to do with that but not all of it. Jalen did put up the winning touchdown but the defense was to damn tired to stop them with the winning touchdown. Because the offense went 0 - 13 on 3rd down conversions in the second half. To beat an offensive team with a mobile quarterback you have to keep him on the sideline. You would think we would have learned that by now.

You guys are too much. Honestly. I've read threads every week about what he should do, they should do, the team should do. Crappy tackling, can't field a punt, QB sucks.
Dang guys, your team is in its 4th consecutive playoff. Do you SERIOUSLY think the coaches don't know what they're doing? That Jalen enjoys throwing incomplete passes? That the LB's enjoy missing tackles? That corners are trying to not cover the receiver.
It's borderline humorous...

I think Jalen could make a big play at any point of any game. What I'm worried about is all the 3 and out's we'll have leading up to that big play and the amount of snaps that our depleted defense will be on the field.
We didn't convert a 3rd down against Auburn until late in the 4th quarter. The same thing happened against Clemson last year in the second half. The same thing happened earlier this year against LSU and MS State.
To answer the question, I don't think we'll win a championship with Jalen as the starting QB...
