As well of the fact that he had past actions that looked bad through election time optics. We ran a candidate who WAS NOT going to win. Its the same reason Hillary lost. You run an NON VIABLE candidate and you will lose. Put up a NORMAL candidate that the public can get behind and we win. A LOT of Alabama republicans either did not vote or even MORE disgusting..actually voted for Doug. Heck, some folks on HERE voted for Doug!

I tried to email dougie thru his senate.gov site and it just keeps kicking it back... hopefully its from multiple others emailing and clogging it up.
If the parties were reversed in this case the outrage from the dems would be tremendous.
I believe Dougie shot himself in the foot on this one and hopefully come 2020 all those who marked the box for him will make the right decision and get him the heck out of there.

roy was not the perfect pick, but we only had two to pick from, so the voters picked dougie, hows that going for you!! Could’ve voted for Mo Brooks like the smart people in North Alabama. Those south of TN River gave us Roy Moore....and Kay Ivey for that matter.
