I think I was about 13 and me and my buddies thought it would be funny to stretch a piece of fishing line across the road with aluminum cans tied to each side so that when cars passed they would catch the line and drag the cans. Needless to say we got the line to short so when the first truck passed at 45 miles an hour, the cans smashed into the side of his truck.I didn't know I could run that fast.
When I was fifteen me and a couple of buddies of minefound a tv and a chair on the side of the road. Also on that road was a dead racoon. Needless to say someone woke up to a dead raccoon sitting on a chair watching tv with a beer in one hand and a cig in the other.
After I got my license, we found out that this road in Decatur would flood to the point that cars could still pass but threw up one hell of wake off the tires. We used to patrol the road waiting on someone to try to pass with there Windows down. We soaked alot of car interiors. Sorry to anyone who got wet on redbank.

Some of you boys are worse than I was, and I was bad. Here's a few highlights
I tied my brother to the clothesline pole one day right after we got off the bus. It was about 25 degrees outside and he stayed tied up that way until my dad got home from work about an hour later. My dad made me untie thim then he beat my ass with a pecan limb he broke off the tree. Not a switch, a limb the size of a broom handle.
We had a 60 year old crazy (really) teacher in 10th grade. Her son was in my grade. I super glued a penny to the floor and she fell over trying to pick it up. She was always making us move the desks around in some weird way everyday to split up the group that I sat with. So, after the penny deal, me and about 5 buddies all brought superglue and we glued all the desks together and glued them to the floor. They may still be right there for all I know. There was also a skinny little kid in that class. We got him to hide in her podium one day during class. He started changing grades in her grade book. It didn't take us long to figure out that if we made a zero on a test that it was real easy for him to make a 100 out of it. We all had A's in the class.
I set my Granny's house on fire throwing lit matches into the fireplace. It was summer time and she had a pot or dried flowers in front of the fireplace. That was bad.
I loosened the nuts on a boys front bicycle wheel. He had one heck of a wreck after he jumped a ramp at the end of our driveway.
When I was 16, a kid threw and hit my car with a stick as I drove through his neighborhood. I had 1/2 a cup of ice in my car and planned on throwing it at him. He was standing by the road when I turned around. I got up to about 30 mph and threw the cup. A cup of ice going 30 mph will knock a 12 year old clean off his feet when it hits him in the nose/mouth area. I threw a handful of penny's at a guy riding a bicycle one day. I was going about 60 mph in my truck. I don't know how many hit him, but he had the same reaction as someone who just knocked over a hornets nest. I was in college on that one.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

when I was 15 went night hunting at this pasture in monroeville ,the mag light had eyes everywhere shot one of Doc lowerys cows ,it is impossible for three teenagers to drag a dead cow.....we had to work on doc lowerys farm all summer to pay for the cow. thought it would be cool to catch the black and white fluffy rats in the feed room,we had to take baths in #3 wash tubs with tomato juice . I blew a whole in the side of the house showing my buddy, pawpaws shotgun. built a fire in our treehouse to stay warm...burnt the tree house and pawpaws cataba worm tree.

When I was 16 my Plymoth Duster got egged while I was at football practice. I knew none of the guys on the team had done it and it didn't take many days for me to find out who did. The culprit was one of those silver spoon kids who's dad had alot of money and bought his son a brand new 300zx. Well I borrowed a friends car that didn't go to my school and waited till school let out and timed my exit right in front of him. We got on the highway doin about 55 when I let an entire box of BB's slide out the air vent window. Next day at school his car was peppered with little dents and cracks.

We used to put thumb tacks in peoples seats. talk about a funn reaction when they sit down on it. Here I am almost 15 years later and I still catch myself checking my seat before I sit down. Fortunately I never sit on one
About my Junior year a bunch of us guys used to work on our cars and trucks and a buddies daddys shop there in Dothan. It was right next to a black club. One night of the the guys got a cheap purse from walmart and filled it full of dog crap from his dads dogs. when the club got kinda busy we sit it next to the door of a car in front of the shop and waited. It wasnt 20 minutes when a guy came by and looked around and eased over and picked it up. He walked around the corner with it and came back about 10 seconds later slinging his hand all around. Talk about funny. one of the guys had it on video back then. I might see if he still has it and post it. Maybe I can get my hands on it. be prepared. Youll laugh til you cant breath

After one of my dad's many trips to meet my principle at my elementary school and after wearing my ass out in the garage with his belt when we got home, he pointed at a hoe handle and said he would get hold of me with it the next time he got called to the school. Very next day I smacked this annoying girl upside her head with my lunchbox. Back then they were made of steel, not plastic. Teacher said she was going to call my dad. I begged and pleaded for her not to. To keep her from calling dad I took 10 licks in front of the class, with everyone counting them off. I refuse to list anymore since the statute of limitations has not run out on most of the crap I did and my parents may end up seeing this. Jsh1904, that story about your dad driving 2 1/2 hours across the state line to whip your ass is the funniest thing I've read on here In a while.

We had a teacher in high school that just didn't have the knack for establishing order in his classroom/lab. One day while he was lecturing on the periodic table or some nonsense, I heated up a quarter with a electric burner(like a stove eye) in the back of the class. Our desks were actually chairs at lab tables. Then several of us snapped our pencil lead and all made a trip past his desk to the pencil sharpener. I was carrying the quarter with some tweezers and laid it on the corner of the teachers desk. It was near the end of the classs period, and as he wound down his speech, he noticed the still very hot quarter laying on the desk and slid it off into his pocket. He actually let out a cuss word and started dancing. The whole class burst into hysterical laughter. Several of us did have to stay after class, but nobody knew anything about it. That poor man caught so much abuse that it was his last year teaching. Other times when he was facing the board, someone would make a funny noise like a dog barking, after he looked back to the board someone else would do it again from across the room. It would go on for 15 minutes like that.

I know someone who used to blow acetylene gas in plastic garbage bags and use newspaper for a fuse. He would twist the bag shut and put a rock on it and slide twisted newspaper under the bag and light it. He could drive pretty far before it went off. He blew the windows out of the old rec. gym in Oneonta once and set off alarms all over town. He did it outside of town alot too.

My stepfather had the largest continuous run playboy collection on earth. We sold some of them to the preachers son down the road. His dad found the collection under the house in the crawl space.
He ratted us out. Preacher came a knockin....first time (but not last) that I jumped out the second story window and ran 8 miles to grannies house for protection. Not from the spanking, got that from Granny, Grandpa, Mom and Dad, not to mention the preachers penance. But even today I think he'd kill my brothers and I if he ever saw us again.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

Armadillos in a laundry mat washer. I'm sure someone loved that one.
Shot windows out of cars with bb gun.
Shot street lights out with bb gun.
Broke windows out of cars with rocks because my bb gun had been taken away.
Shot bottle rockets at cars and at each other.
Set the couch on fire shooting caps underneath it. Imagine my mom dragging the couch out the door and onto the patio while it's smoking (she loved that one).
Never was too mean to animals except our poor bull. We tortured him with bb gun shots to his unmentionables.
I got more whippings than any kid should have! Or maybe not.

We used to roll houses with toilet paper on halloween but the cop always caught us. So one halloween we called 911 (before caller id) and said that there was a big fight up on the mountain. There was only one way up and down the mountain. We hid in the woods and waited for the cops to go up the mountain. When they did, we piled old tires in the road and set them on fire. The cops were trapped up there for hours. We did not get caught rolling any houses that year.

The cops were trapped up there for hours. We did not get caught rolling any houses that year. Me and 2 buddies were rolling another friends yard one night and a rogue animal control officer (we called them "Dog Catchers") pulled over and commenced to informing us we "were going to clean up this mess and he was taking us to our parents." We all took off running and he decided to chase us. Me and one of my friends were much faster than our chubby buddy so we found a dark hiding spot and waited. Our large friend cam huffing by and the DC was close behind. He led him all the way to a lake about 1,000 yds away which we had many trails and hiding spots all around. After they passed we went back out to the yard and saw the DC had left his truck running. We were too scared to move it or anything, so we pulled the keys and threw them under the seat and ran home. All these stories are making me realize my kids aint so bad or I was horrible! He never caught my other friend and we never heard anything else about it. I've always wondered how long it took him to find his keys!
