You will get everything from Goodyear to BFG all terrain to Nitto to Cooper to Toyo. Then someone will throw out a Falken or michelin. Yep - all depends on personal preference and cost.

There are dozens of threads about this very subject. Do a search for one. It has been covered over and over again.

I have the Toyo Open Country AT II's on my Jeep Wrangler.
I have the Cooper Discover AT3's on my Ranger 4x4.
They have both been good tires, but I honestly think the Coopers look better, ride better, handle better, have better wet weather traction and seem to wear better. How Cooper made a tire that has this much traction and still last as long as they do is a trick. I used to have a buddy that had years and years of Automotive shop experience and the only tires he would sell you out of his shop was Michelin and Cooper. I've had 2 sets of these Cooper tires and I'm a fan now. Coopers will go on Mrs. Irish's SUV and the Jeep next time.

This. I have the Ridge Grapplers and they are great.

Nitto is my preference. My son's truck has the Coopers, but I bought it from Irishhuy...so .They have been great tires so far.

Good luck with the Wild Peaks. I had my head set on them when I bought tires 2 months ago. Only 1 place could get them and it was going to be $400 over what I had seen them go for on line. Everybody else said they had been discontinued. They even showed available online and come to find out they weren't. Went with the Cooper AT3. They are ok.
