My 2017 Ford F250 Super Duty came with Goodyear tires on it from the factory. My truck turned over 35,000 miles today and they are about worn out. I have never purchased a set of GY tires and I never will. This news only re-enforces a stance I already had taken.

Considering those LEO pursuit vehicle run Goodyear’s I’m sure things might change now. They almost always win the state bid contracts for government vehicles. Firestone has a small % but, they formed a distribution alliance with GY a couple years ago called tire hub. General tire is easing into the pursuit market but GY, is and will remain #1. It's about the $'s. And the fact that we will find something else to be mad about within 10 days or so and even this thread will be lost on page 7 by then.

That’s similar to the point I made when I said buy your tires now. Before long, we will be mad at every tire, auto, and whatever else type of manufacturer because they all will shift to the extreme left. Socialist will attack the big money cooperations first. So the shift is an attempt to deflect those attacks before they start but it won’t be long and they’ll attack them for something else. That’s my .02.

The last Duratracs I bought lasted maybe 30k. I’m waiting on Toyos to come in now The AT3s are popular. I have another month or so to wait I was told today.

Just talked to my bro in law who purchases a pile of city trucks every year and he said none of his trucks come with good year tires but he can get whatever he wants 😁

I run a tire and auto shop. I have already had some government agencies and sheriff departments call and ask if I could get any other pursuit tires besides Goodyear. Looks like I am about to be selling the hell out of Firestone. The Goodyear sign on the front of my building should be removed tonight. Good on you. I learned something , never knew there were pursuit tires.
