I'm as sick of this election as anybody. Could the courts toss ALL the ballots and force an election do over? This time only allowing votes cast on that day to count? Never heard of such but I reckon it's possible.
Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

I don’t believe a do over is possible but I DO believe that a person should ONLY be allowed to vote in person, on the day of the election, except for deployed military. Mail in and absentee voting is ridiculous. If a person values their right to vote then they shouldn’t plan trips on that day. I mean, I don’t need a calendar to tell me what’s going on, on the first Tuesday of November, in 2024. I also don’t believe (as much as I’m a state’s rights proponent) an individual state should be able to make individual laws pertaining to National elections.

I would eliminate mail in ballots except under very special conditions. Make the national election a week long process and require voter id. There is no valid reason to limit voting to one day. Hopefully Alabama will pass early voting before the next election. We can absolutely do better for our election process. Why is ballot counting not livestreamed easily available on youtube? I can pull up the Toomers corner camera livestream 24/7/365 but nope for counting votes.

I'd like to see the electoral college mirror the senate. Each state gets two votes, regardless of population.

Why should California get 55 votes and Alaska get 3?

Back in the day it was one day and you knew the results the next day. I only voted absentee when I was over seas I had to vote absentee for the 2004 election. Lived in mobile and went downtown to the big gov't building a week or so before the election. Asked for the ballot and filled it out right there and handed it over. Very simple. I think the states that make this seem harder than it is do it for one reason only. Why most people can't see that is beyond me.
