My Christmas present is going to be a new 20ga.

If you could buy any 20ga for turkey hunting, which one would it be, and why?

Youth model sxs or o/u with double triggers, for the ability to choke the barrels differently.

If I was buying it with someone else’s money, then a Rob Roberts custom Benelli M-2.

I bought a Franchi 20 gauge last year and put a Vortex Venom red dot on it. The Franchi was half the price of an M2.

Cz bobwhite because it has double triggers and it would be cool to set one up for tss.
Or
Browning A5 because I’m nostalgic and wish I had one with a full choke, vent rib barrel on it.

Franchi Affinity will probably be my next turkey gun purchase.

I got one of them in Bottomland camo that I dedicate to turkey hunting. Love it. Patterns more consistently than any other of my spring guns, but it’s not my first choice most days. Mine is a full stock, 26” model. I prefer shorter OAL guns. The compact Affinity would be a better choice than mine if it patterns even half as well.

I’d get a affinity and a trijicon RMR dual illuminated sight.

I prefer the super 90 to the m2.

I have a 12 and a 20. I like the small bead mid barrel and the regular size red bead at the end as my preferred sighting, even over the Burris and Vortex I’ve had. You just need to find a choke/load combo that shoots POA.

Only reason you know that bead is red is cause somebody told you smile

Benelli needs to offer the M2 20ga with their 21" barrel and drilled and tapped.
