Years ago I remember when the season would go out the end of January or the middle of January here around the house. My grandpa,us kids and some of my grandpa’s buddies would take video cameras and go sit and film once the season went out. I remember we would always have some damn good ones on film every year.
I used to hunt a place up in evergreen that the day the season went out the locals would hunt your land hard for a few weeks after the season went out. Wasn’t much you could do to stop them. This was before trail camera days

I’ll still hear some shots through Feb I guarantee it.

Nobody did any good today? I expected to see some pictures.

They shot the woods DOWN around here today... Kid you not...

Jokes aside, deer season has only ended for law abiding people. Keep some cams at likely entry points, and make sure to stop by and check on things periodically.
