Set up on a hardwood flat that's on the edge of a slough. I'm on the high side in between this slough and another one about 100 yards from me. It makes for a nice natural funnel. Thick pines are on the backside, natural undergrowth on all the other sides. Good luck and stay safe.

Saw a doe and a fawn this morning. Moved spots to a mixed hardwood flat with water and red oaks in it . Set up on the edge of a slough that borders a 5 year old natural regrowth clear cut. This is a little neck of woods that has water on 2 sides and the clear cut on the other 2 sides. The suns out, looks like a good afternoon for the deer to be moving. Good luck and stay safe.
