Back in the same area I saw the Buck 2 days ago. Fresh sign in here, probably from this morning. I'm hoping to catch him slipping back through this evening. Set up 40 yards off the water, the wind was in my face now it's shifted but still blowing my direction from the edge of the water. It's hot and the woods are dead so far. Last chance to get him this year. Good luck and stay safe.

I did t see anything other than a few woodpeckers. All the furry critters were hiding. Thinking about going in the morning but the weathers not any better so this was probably my last hunt for this season.
