What are the best calls (distress, or coyote) and sequences this time of year? I'm wanting to call a little this evening or tomorrow.

I had a successful hunt Friday night. Started with female long howls, group yips and howls, and shortly after rabbit distress. My buddy started shooting at a group of four coming in on his side of the field so I switched to pup distress and brought in two more from the other side of the field. It was a Three Dog Night.

Well, I started with distress and got skunked. I did take my frustrations out on several armidillos, a possum and a coon.

You called up an armadillo, possum, and a coon?
