Recently had some timber work done . Did a 2nd thinning on some 22yr old pine & added 2 small clearcuts (14ac & 10acre). My aim is strictly to create some bedding & improve browse since the place is fairly open due to the hardwood areas. Id like to keep the clearcuts as thick as possible & have no plans to replant them with pine. Do you guys recommend burning these clearcuts every few yrs to keep the bedding & browse low to the ground? Thanks alot
