When I build my 2 row JD planter I overlooked a very important step. The row marker!!! So my brother and I put our brains in gear to figure out something quick and easy. And of course we did. It’s a very simple and crude design that will Be now taken to an advanced level. The permanent design will fold up and lock out the was for traveling purposes. I’m not real proud of this original design but it got the first 2 plantings of corn and snap beans planted. I’ll post up pics of the new and improved product upon completion. But for now y’all enjoy a good laugh compliments of a couple coonasses!!

No Sir I sure didn’t. I got it from a farmer who upgraded from an 8 row to a 12 row. He took the 2 row units off the “wings” and made him a 4 row for food plots. I do regret not getting both sides from him. I could have built 2 and sold one.

If I’ll get off my can and get to work, I’ll have some toolbar, a couple of row units and one drive wheel (no transmission ) available. It’s the older plate bottom XP row units. Will require a good bit of TLC
