I know Christenson rifles have had feeding issues in the past. Some here love their rifles and some don't care for them. My question is , how do they shoot ? Particularly the carbon fiber barreled rifles like the Traverse or Ridgeline ?

I’m not a fan of their carbon barreled rifles. I think the money is better spent going with the FFT stock upgrade and the Mesa rifle.

Mine had to go back for a chamber polish, but once that was done, it is one of my favorite rifles. Extremely accurate.

Edited to add - Ridgeline, with the carbon barrel.

I had several, I had to send two back ( traverse 6.5 prc and a fft Ridgeline 7 prc) the traverse for not shooting good and ejecting issues, fft for pressure issues, when each came back, both shot great,I still have the fft and a mpr(308) and both shoots great. On a side note, I also have a fierce rouge (7prc) and Springfield waypoint (308) with carbon fiber barrels, and they both shoots great

I ended up with a Fierce Carbon Fury when I went down the carbon fiber barrel rabbit hole. I’ve been very pleased with its performance.

I ran across a Christensen Traverse yesterday in 300 Win Mag at a local pawn shop. For what I ended up in it, I couldn't turn it down. From what I understand it's the Ridgeline with a few more bells and whistles. It's just a matter of scoping it now and seeing what it will do.

I’ve got and been around several Christensens. Every one I’ve been around has shot really well

I have a Mesa and it has been good which I guess makes me lucky! Lots of friends have Traverse and they seem to like them. If I was really wanting a Carbon Fiber barrel, I would probably start with a Proof Barrel and let Gundoc build around that. Guess it depends on how much you want to spend. Fierce also seems to put out a good product.
