Had some timber clear cut a few weeks ago. This included a very small section (1/8th acre) of kudzoo. have noticed some kudzoo sprouts coming back already so id like to keep it at bay during the summer. What herbicide do you guys suggest to use ? Thanks alot

Round up will kill it if you stay on top of it. I honestly wish I had an acre of it. I can keep it contained and bucks love it.

Escort or clopyralid(transline). I’ve never had any consistent control with glyphosate. The others will knock it out.

I've been battling some established kudzu for over a year now. In my experience Glyphosate doesn't kill it. I sprayed about 3 acres with Glyphosate 4 times last year before allowing it to kill the leaves and then bush hogged it. It just came back. Crossbow kept some spots killed off longer but it still came back. From all I've read and what I'm experiencing , it just take a lot of cutting and spraying to kill it off.

It's actually real good deer food. 15-18% protein and around 65% TDN. Just sayin'. I'll also say it'll get way out of control, real quick, if you let it. We keep it killed off as best we can. The gentlemen in the little red dress is correct. Escort will nuke it.

My neighbor has a little on their property actually surprised it hasn’t gone crazy. I’ve sprayed it with roundup when it gets too close to me but it really isn’t taking over. Not sure it likes our sand loam soil. But there’s a big patch right down the street. 🤷‍♂️

However, I’ve had great luck spraying it with AccordSP.

If you are going to keep it in pines I’d go with Escort. Plus, it is very cheap.

Crossbow (2,4-d and triclopyr) will kill everything but your grasses

Crossbow didn't kill mine. I sprayed it twice with it. It knocked it down for about 4 or 5 weeks but came right back.
