The weapons rules on several forever wild tracts are legalized to death.
“Deer hunting shall be limited to shotgun with slugs, muzzle-loading rifles, muzzle-loading handguns, muzzle-loading shotguns, airbows, air powered guns .30 caliber or larger, bow&arrow, crossbow. Rifles and hand guns to be .40 caliber or larger, shotguns to use round balls only.
Firearms to be incapable of holding more than one charge for each barrel. “

That last sentence makes me think pump shotguns are not allowed, bolt action singles or break action singles and double only. Or does it mean plugged shotguns are ok? Additionally, in one place it says slugs then another shotguns to use round balls only. What is a round ball slug?
I understand round ball in muzzle loaders so no sabot shooters. But I’ve never seen a single round ball slug shell.

As usual extra confusing rules so it’s not fun.

Forever Wild should be done away with. That’s a general statement. It has nothing to do with how you’re deciphering the regs. 🤣

Y'all just wait till the new regs come out this year. Pretty sure one or more of my weapons will be illegal to hunt with.

It's pretty bad. The rules are so hard to follow its not even worth fooling with. Best thing to do is just stick to the WMAs in my opinion

The one near me seems to be pretty straightforward....basically, for deer hunting it's no rifles and I *think* no buckshot....just bow, slug gun or muzzleloader.

There are 3 certainties in an uncertain world:

2. All Gun Laws Are an Infringement
3. Taxation Is Theft
