If I had a Meadow creek I would check it daily for tightness.😬

Been shooting it for 2.5 years now with zero misses and 16 dead birds counting all states hunted.

I’ve shot it after each miss and it’s still on. I don’t want to get my gun drilled and tapped but that may be the next step and go to a sumtoy What gun/choke/shell combo are you shooting? If you are shooting tss and a super tight choke, open it up and keep your shots inside 45 yards. I had problems one year and missed 4 turkeys. Went from a .555 to a .587 and increased my percentages of success drastically.

Get it drill and tapped. I d/t my 1187 and 870 and put a Burris Fastfire mount on them. I use a Vortex Venom red dot and love it. Having it on the vent rib seems crazy to me.

Been hunting with one for 3-4 years. Never had any issues. I hated red dots when mounted on receiver. With the meadow creek mount it feels more like a bead.

I’ve got a sum toy custom mount that was milled to fit the vent rib and looks to be screwed and tapped into the vent rib.
It was on the gun when I bought it, it’s solid as Can be.
