Did anyone ever reopen Perkins? If not, where is the closest live bait coming through Russellville? My daughter is asking to go fishing which equates to a live bait trip. Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure it’s open under a new name. Can’t think of it off the top of my head.

K and S bought the Perkins store. They still should be carrying live bait but will not do as well as using bigger bait.

I noticed this weekend that there is a store that has minnows on 24 about 2 miles west of the overpass over 43.

Cj’s in Belgreen has crappie minnows, ace hardware in red bay has them, but I’d try to find bass minnows in Florence/Muscle Shoals area.

I can’t get any of them to answer the phone …..greys bait and tackle, the old Perkins store….

I appreciate all the replies. She’s not going to care what species she catches as long as she catches.

Tell her to get a little spoon and catch all the skip jack she can put in a bucket and call me!!
