We have a baby due in July, so my hunting this fall will be very limited. I’m thinking about going to an outfitter for a meat hunt/guaranteed deer type thing just to ensure I pull the trigger this fall. Anyone have any recommendations on an outfitter and estimated cost?

Out of state is fine with me and probably preferred.

Charity hunts in Alabama are probably a least cost option if you just want meat.

Tejas . You can kill a Cow Elk for about 3K, and be home in two days with coolers full.

https://lonesomebullranch.com

Looking at their meat hunt page gives me the feeling these folks need to get rid of some animals.

I'd think sliding someone on here a few bags of corn and a gift card to shoot a doe would be the best route and cheapest OR go hunt public land during doe season and enjoy time in the woods.

Pick a WMA close to your house and sit on a greenfield on the afternoon of opening day of rifle season. You'll kill one for $18.23

Or get you a crossbow and you can hunt anytime the season is on a WMA.

Details are on the Morgan Academy website. Barring some type of terrible weather you are pretty much guaranteed seeing does. Quartering of the deer is included in the price.

Whitetail doe $600 + 495 guide fee + 125 for lodging( not required) and if doe is pregnant you get a 1000 fine. I believe you can buy a lot of beef with those $$$’s

The link just me looking, 2600 acres with over 3500 exotics, is that a lot of animals on that acreage, the ranch is located around Corpus Christie Tx.

It’ll be a hell of lot cheaper to just shoot one off the side of the road. 😁

For that much money, I'll shoot you a doe, get it processed, and deliver it to you.

Most likely being hunted on family land that is restricted to family hunting. A very good chance at a quality deer.
